ABS Pain Hospital is one of the most important complaint that the patient comes to the hospital or goes to a doctor with the hope of relief. Most of these pains can be relieved by community and family doctors. However there are certain subset of these patients who get no relief. We have started this pain hospital to cater to these patients.
Acute pain
Pain that has started recently within few days is called as an acute pain. The causes of this acute pain can be multiple and sometimes hard to diagnose and treat. We as neurologists and neurosurgeons understand pain better than other physicians as irritation or destruction of nerves is the final cause of pain in all cases.
ABS Pain Hospital We take pride that with our experience we are able to come to a diagnosis as to the cause of the pain. Frequently for example a patient comes with facial pain. We after taking history and examining the patient we are able to come to a diagnosis as whether the patient’s facial pain is because of sinusitis, tooth pain nerve pain or headache. We chose investigations carefully to confirm our diagnosis and treat accordingly.
Another example is frequently occurring back pain. The causes of back pain may be due to spine disorders, abdominal condition like kidney stones and hip problems. Given our experience and training were able to come to conclusion as to the cause of the pain and treat accordingly.

ABS Pain Hospital We offer sometimes less invasive treatment options like injections of local anaesthetic and steroids into the diseased area or even offer surgery if it is in the best interest of the patient. Even in surgery we try to explore of minimally invasive approaches and sometimes open approach as indicated.
Everyday we take up the challenge of diagnosing and treating several pain conditions which were undiagnosed and untreated earlier.
